    "Well, it appears that this should be worked into the procedures," Jim
said 
icily.  "How did they exit?" 
    "Probably by the utility entrance," replied the Colonel.  He lead Jim down 
the hall and showed him the exit.  The door was closed.  Jim tested it.  It
was 
not locked. 
    "That pretty much tells the story," said Jim glumly.  "A former employee, 
or someone connected with a former employee was tipped off about her arrival, 
which is actually what I intended, given a map of the facility, and marched 
right in here and took her and left, knowing how to avoid the press.  I just 
did not imagine that they would get the jump on us so fast." 
    "I suspect that we are dealing with a very informed type of individual. 
If 
that is the case, we will hear from them very soon.  I recommend that you and 
the young lady go to the hotel and get some sleep, and then we can try and
deal

    This was very true.  Jim was exhausted.  The pair went back to Angelica's
